# 62 New International Matches in the Cricket Database: Gill's 223 Not Out and Two Asian Games Golds

62 new international matches are now in the free TigZig cricket database, played between 18 Sep and 7 Oct. The database now has 11,000+ matches since 2001 and 5 million+ deliveries, covering Tests, ODIs, T20s and the IPL, men's and women's.

Shubman Gill made 223 not out against West Indies in Guwahati, with his 200 coming off 117 balls, the fastest double hundred in men's ODIs, as India chased 406. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both made hundreds in the same series, and Shai Hope made 162 not out as West Indies chased 352, their highest successful ODI chase.

India won both cricket golds at the Asian Games, the men beating Pakistan by 19 runs and the women beating Sri Lanka by 147 runs. Shafali Verma made 100 off 49 balls in the semi-final against Bangladesh, the first hundred by a woman at the Asian Games.

The database covers every men's and women's international that Cricsheet publishes, plus the IPL, and refreshes twice a day. The tables are:

- **ball_by_ball**: one row per delivery
- **match_info**: one row per match
- **people**: the player master, with a player ID and ESPNcricinfo ID
- **match_players**: who played in each match

You can download the whole database or one table, or query it with SQL directly on my Postgres and DuckDB.
