# MFPRO Composition Analytics Is Live. Portfolios for 24 of India's Largest Equity Funds, Reconciled Against the AMC's Own Printed Totals.

Tigzig MFPRO Composition analytics live now - June'25 to July'26 portfolios, 24 of India's largest equity funds, ~one-thirds of equity group. Compare composition of one or more funds across a time period or against each other, or vs. a benchmark. Interactive tool to run your cuts, copy-to-Excel, original Excel downloads, ISIN remaps, recon notes and validation deltas.

Categories covered are large cap, mid cap, small cap, flexi cap, focused and value. Ten snapshots in all: June 2025, September 2025 and December 2025, then every month from January 2026 through July 2026.

Tricky piece is making the months comparable. A company that goes through a face-value split arrives under a new ISIN, and unless you stitch them, the chart shows a new position appearing from nowhere. Certificates of deposit, commercial paper and treasury bills each arrive as dozens of separate lines and have to be grouped before a portfolio reads as a portfolio.

Every fund and month is reconciled against the AMC's own printed grand total. 228 of the 240 fund-month combinations tally to the rupee, and the 12 that do not are published with the reason.

## Cash is where the fund houses differ from each other

Cash is the one where the fund houses do not do the same thing as each other. Some of them write cash, TREPS and net current assets as ordinary rows inside the holdings list, so the grand total they print at the bottom is already the whole fund.

Others print the securities total first, then cash on a separate line under it, then net assets at the very bottom, and if you stop at the row called Total you are short by whatever they are holding in cash, which for one fund this month was 7.4 per cent.

We take the net assets line in both cases, so a weight on our screen is a share of the whole fund and the funds can be compared with each other.

There is a third case, one house leaves derivatives out of its own grand total while we keep them in, so our number comes out slightly higher, and every one of those months is listed with the difference and the reason.

The validation is published as its own tab for every fund and every month against the AMC's own printed grand total, 228 of 240 to the rupee and the rest listed with the reason.

## If you work with an AI assistant

If you work with an AI assistant, the Copy page button on the documentation pages gives you the whole page as markdown so you can paste it in and ask how the numbers are put together.

The tables have their own Copy button that gives tab separated text that you can paste directly into Excel.
