# Everything I Built for Market Reports Now Sits in One App. QDESK, and Three Ways In.

Everything I had built for market reports now sits in one app. It used to be three separate ones, so people had to work out which was which, and I had to make the same change in three places.

It is called QDESK, and there are three ways in. You can ask the agent in plain English. You can fill a form and hit generate. Or you can point your own code, or your own agent, at the API and MCP, which is what the first two are calling underneath.

Which one suits you depends on what you are working with. A chat window cannot install anything, so it comes in over MCP. Something like Claude in Excel will install what it needs and do the work itself.

One change came out of reading the logs. The agent now looks up the symbol live. It used to recall tickers from memory, and that guessing was where people were getting stuck.

Free, no signup.

## The reports are the same whichever way you come in

Security performance, AI technical analysis on the daily and weekly charts, a QPulse tearsheet against a benchmark, QREP with around eighty risk and return figures for up to six securities side by side, company financials, price data, and symbol search. Indian mutual fund NAV history comes from AMFI.

If you would rather not start from a blank box, there are sample prompts on the page. One of them runs the whole set of reports in one go, so give that one a couple of minutes. The single reports come back quicker.

## Indian mutual fund NAV history

The agent will also pull Indian mutual fund NAV history and hand it over to you.

If you want to pick the funds yourself and get a CSV, that is in MFPRO, on the Data and API tab. Single fund or in batches of 20. Every scheme from April 2006, updated three times a day. Free, no sign in.
