Net Assets Rs 31,175 Crore, Net Inflows Rs 7,699 Crore. SIF data at sif.tigzig.com is current to 11 September, refreshed twice a day. August was the biggest month the category has had. Net assets went from Rs 23,177 crore to Rs 31,175 crore, net inflows were Rs 7,699 crore, which is more than May and June put together, and folios went from 94,000 to over 125,000. The fastest mover is Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short, up about 66% from Rs 3,790 crore to Rs 6,289 crore, and it now has seven schemes across seven fund houses. Hybrid Long-Short is still where most of the money sits, about 63% of the total. Two of the seven strategies SEBI permits still have no funds at all, both of them the debt ones. SIF is kept out of that pipeline for now, and the identifier is the main reason. A SIF scheme code is text with a prefix, SIF-120, while a mutual fund scheme code is a plain number like 119551, so the two cannot be stacked into one column as they are.
