# How do I do marketing campaign reporting and ops with Claude (Cowork and Skills)?

The pattern, as Anthropic's own marketing-ops team runs it and as the author does it for small businesses: move recurring campaign work from chat to a **Claude Cowork** "coworker" run, and control it with **Claude Skills**. Anthropic cut weekly metrics reporting from days to hours and routes campaign ops through Slack with an audit agent verifying the output.

For small-business campaign work the setup is four skills - **list creation, list validation, response modeling, campaign measurement**. The key idea: a skill is your **business context and rules and how you want it done** (what counts as an attributable conversion, the exact model validation, decile tables and report format), plus pointers to baseline Python scripts the agent adapts. The agent already knows how to code; it needs to learn how YOU want it done. Output goes to the client as CSV plus an HTML audit report. Update the skill after every campaign, and reorg your skills every few weeks.
