How do I explore the TigZig data surface with my AI agent?

Paste one line into your agent: "Go to api.tigzig.com. Tell me what's there and how we can pull it." Free, no signup, no API key.

What the agent finds at the root. api.tigzig.com returns a JSON index that points to the interactive docs (/docs), the OpenAPI spec (/openapi.json), the API catalog in the standard RFC 9727 format (/.well-known/api-catalog), the list of bulk downloads (/downloads) and a health check. Every public API is in that catalog, with its own docs.

What the data covers. Macro and markets data in eight categories (US macro, credit, valuation and insurance, India macro, global macro, markets and currencies) on the TREMOR API, Indian mutual funds (NAV history and scheme details), India company signals from VIGIL, and a cricket database queryable with SQL. For each one the agent can ask for a single item, a batch, or take the whole table as a file and work on it locally. Callers reach the APIs from Google Sheets and Apps Script, Excel and Power BI, n8n, Zoho and Power Automate workflows, Python and Node scripts, and AI agents including Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Mistral and Grok.

Four things worth telling your agent up front:

MCP servers for agents that prefer tools: which free MCP servers TigZig offers. Browse all APIs: https://www.tigzig.com/apis. Release note: https://www.tigzig.com/post/tigzig-agent-data-surface-oct2026.
