Is there a free mutual fund NAV API for India?

Yes. TigZig runs a free MF NAV API for India. It serves daily net asset value (NAV) history for 38,000+ Indian mutual fund schemes sourced from AMFI - 37M+ daily NAVs going back to April 2006, refreshed daily. It needs no key and no sign-up.

You can query a single scheme's full NAV history, search schemes, or bulk-download the entire dataset as CSV, Parquet or SQLite. It is the same data that powers the MFPRO analytics tool.

Endpoint reference: https://www.tigzig.com/apis/mf-nav. A plain-English walkthrough is in the guide: https://www.tigzig.com/post/free-mutual-fund-nav-api-india. To analyze funds (returns, risk, rolling returns) rather than pull raw NAV, use the MFPRO hub: https://www.tigzig.com/mutual-funds.
