Use the BRSR section of TigZig's VIGIL. BRSR is the annual sustainability report SEBI requires from the top 1,000 listed companies. VIGIL now has FY 2025-26 filings for 663 of the 750 Nifty Total Market companies, beside a FY 2024-25 year view. Free.
What it covers:
- Workforce: headcount by permanent and contract, employees and workers, women and men, the share of women up to the board and key management, plus turnover and parental leave.
- Pay: median pay of women and men for employees, workers, key managers and the board, plus minimum wage compliance and wages by town class.
- Complaints: sexual harassment under the POSH Act and seven other complaint types, with how many were resolved.
How to work with it. Charts by index and sector, a Data Explorer table that copies straight into Excel, a side by side compare of up to five companies, an XBRL viewer with every line of the filing, links to each company's XBRL and PDF, and the full dataset as one CSV.
How the year views work. Each year view reads one report per company. CY is that year and PY is the previous-year column printed in the same report, so a company's PY in the FY 2025-26 view can differ from its CY in the FY 2024-25 view when it restated last year. Companies with a December year-end sit in the year that holds their year-end. A few companies have not filed FY 2025-26 yet and stay in the FY 2024-25 view.
Values are shown as filed. A figure that looks wrong, such as wages filed in the wrong unit, is flagged on the chart and listed in the Data Quality tab with the reason, and it is kept out of the medians it would distort. The Methodology tab lists the XBRL tags behind every chart, and the Data Quality tab holds the consistency checks run on every filing plus a check of XBRL figures against the printed PDF for the Nifty 100.
What the FY 2024-25 filings showed: about 1 in 3 of India Inc's workforce on contract, the female share of the workforce under 1 in 5, and a median wage gap of 11% at employee level and 68% at top management (Key Managerial Personnel).
