Are you paying Rs 1,950 a month for the Google subscription? Did you know you have access to Antigravity, a full-fledged AI coding agent that pulls data, trains models, and automates desktop tasks directly inside your workspace.

I recently posted about using Claude Cowork as an analytics front end, and Antigravity can do all of that and more.

Because it is a full-fledged coder, it manages your local files, pulls data directly from feeds like Yahoo Finance or FRED, and builds custom HTML dashboards. If you want to go a little deeper into these capabilities, check my guide on Working with Claude Cowork.

The interface looks like a developer code editor... and if that makes you uncomfortable, you can customize it to feel like a familiar chat app by hiding the file explorer side panels and switching from dark to light theme.

It's a desktop app ...to try it out, you can get the installer from the Google Antigravity Download Page, and there are many starter videos on YouTube to get you up to speed quickly. There is a free tier with weekly limits, so you can try it before deciding on a subscription, and the Rs 1,950 plan raises those limits.

And if you get stuck, ask Antigravity itself .. it can chat too.

Keep the permission prompt switched on

Since the agent runs on your machine, it has access to your local files and can execute terminal commands. The default setup is configured to ask for permission before running any command, and you should keep this manual approval active until you are comfortable with the tool.

Where it sits against Claude Code

Am getting pretty impressed with Antigravity, especially the speed.

To clarify, my primary tool still remains Claude Code which I use from app builds to dashboards to machine learning models and quality wise I find it far ahead...but been trying out Antigravity lately with offline tasks ..including HTML apps, quick analysis, dashboards etc .. and the speed is amazing. I have it as a backup subscription and nowadays using it more and more for 'quick and fast' tasks.

And by the way, Google sometimes has an offer running, so you might get the Rs 1,950 subscription for Rs 200 for the first 3 months. Great if you want to get a feel for how an AI Coder works.

However if you don't already have the google subscription and planning to spend $20 on one (or choose between two $20 subs), I'll suggest to simply go for Claude .. comes bundled with Claude Code and Claude Cowork.
