Scheme Details for Indian Mutual Funds Are Live on Tigzig: Fund Size, Fund Manager, TER and BER, Benchmark and Riskometer
Published: October 4, 2026
Scheme details for Indian mutual funds are now live on Tigzig APIs, tool and data surfaces - available for people and agents - fund size, fund manager, TER and BER, benchmark, riskometer and scheme terms. Refreshed 4 times a day.
60 fields per scheme, in one file and one API.
Covering ~2100 funds across 8600+ plans.
Pull one scheme, up to 50 in a call.
Download the whole file as Parquet or CSV.
Data quality file: mismatches between sources, with the reason. Available on the API.
Validations: on the MFPRO Data Quality page, covering NAV, scheme documents and holdings.
It adds to the full NAV history already on MFPRO: about 37.5 million daily NAVs for 38,000+ schemes, live and matured, since April 2006. NAVs work the same way, one fund at a time, 50 in a batch, the latest NAV only, or the whole database as one download.
Free, no signup, no API key.
It's actually been live for the past few days and it is already being pulled into Python scripts, Google Sheets and people's own apps.

Usage notes
There are many data nuances. I have captured them in API docs and on the Data Quality page in MFPRO, with its validations and known issues. A few usage tips below.
Fund-level values repeat on every plan. AUM, fund manager, benchmark and the scheme terms belong to the fund, so they show up on each of its plans, four rows for a typical fund and up to 36 for the largest. To total AUM, count only the rows where fund_dedup_flag is true.
Join on scheme_code. The file has one row per scheme_code, the same code the NAV API and downloads use, so you join on scheme_code.
AUM latest and AAUM are different numbers. AUM latest is the whole fund on one day, from the daily fund performance data on AMFI's website. AAUM is the quarterly average for each plan, from AMFI's quarterly release, and it stays in the scheme master file as before.
There are three riskometers: the daily one for the scheme, the same for its benchmark, and the one the fund house prints in its scheme document. They usually agree, and all three are kept as filed.
TER is matched only on the exact SEBI scheme code in the fund's own document. Where that code is missing or is shared with another fund, TER is left blank.
