Is SIF Analytics Coming to MFPRO? On the List, No Date.

A few people have asked whether SIF analytics is coming to MFPRO. Here is where it stands: the plan is there, no date on it.

SIF is SEBI's Specialised Investment Fund category, barely a year old and growing fast. But AMFI publishes SIF data on a different portal, and the daily NAV feed MFPRO syncs three times a day carries no SIF schemes at all.

And by the way, the SIF ISINs look exactly like mutual fund ISINs, INF prefix and all, since SIF units sit under the AMC's mutual fund umbrella at the depository.

So, same identifier formats but different regulatory category and different source...and would need a new ingestion pipeline with its own validations.

MFPRO itself has been live a few months and usage has picked up the past few weeks, in the app and through the API. I would rather let that settle and learn from it before adding SIF. Yes, on the list, no date.
