Pull up any company and you can see who has been buying into it, or search an acquirer and see everywhere they have been active. Around 3,600 of the filings come from outside the promoter group, which is where the mutual funds, the insurers and the private equity vehicles show up.

About 12,000 filings across 1,500 companies going back to January 2024, and the whole table downloads as CSV, Parquet or SQLite if you would rather work offline.

How the non-promoter filings look

Here's how the non-promoter filings look like. Around 3,600 filings come from outside the promoter group. Over the last twelve months that is roughly 235 large purchases across 174 companies by mutual funds and LIC alone, against about 140 sales across 112 companies.

A point regarding the non-promoter view. Debenture trustees sit in that group too. They hold shares as security against pledged stock rather than as investors, so they are 'non-promoter' but they are not somebody taking a view on the company.
