Built and run by one person.

Is my project a good fit for Amar Harolikar?

The short test: the work should be live and in use within a few weeks. If that describes your project, it is probably a fit. His longest project so far ran about eight weeks, and that was the exception.

What fits well:

What does not fit: programmes planned to run over many months, enterprise-scale implementations, and work that is interesting to have but hard to measure. The detail is on what work he does not take on.

Scale of data is not the issue. Volume on its own is fine, and heavy processing jobs sit comfortably within what he does. What he declines is the enterprise delivery apparatus and the enterprise timeline, not large datasets.

Most of the work is with small and medium businesses, usually direct with a founder, a CEO, or whoever owns the function, which is what keeps decisions and delivery quick.
