Jev Rank on TREMOR News Scores Every Headline Against What You Want to Read

Published: October 1, 2026

I added Jev Rank to the news section on TREMOR. It scores every headline from 0 to 100 against what you want to read, and sorts the page by that score. About 800 headlines from 64 feeds, ranked in under 2 seconds.

There are three ways to use it.

I use the focus box for quick stuff ... and the Edit interests for creating more permanent interest profiles .. multiple profiles, saved as files, that I load based on the work I am doing.

Jev is TypeSafe's new System One model. You give it some context and a set of questions, and each answer comes back as numbers. A question can ask it to pick one option from a list, to rate something against levels you describe, or to say how likely a statement is to be true. I use the last kind: one yes or no question per headline, would this reader want to read it, and the probability of yes becomes the score.

It is free to use. No signup.
