VIGIL Signals File: 13 Flags on NSE Filings, and a Prompt to Run Your Portfolio Through Them
Published: October 30, 2026
Want different flags - as per your angle? Just have your AI agent download the full VIGIL database and build your own.
NSE puts out a steady stream of company filings, on insider trades, promoter pledges, takeovers and credit ratings. Most of it is routine. A promoter selling a large block in one go, or a lender taking a promoter's pledged shares, comes in the same stream as thousands of ordinary trades.
I have picked out 13 situations that need a closer look and turned them into flags, one column each in the VIGIL signals file. Most carry the date of the latest filing, so you or your AI can pick any time window.
These are based on the filings that I track and my own analysis and judgment. Not all of them are red flags, and something can still slip through.
All 13 are listed below for quick reference, and in the detailed docs.
